  I went in here a few weeks ago working as a postmates courier. While ordering I had to step away to call the customer to confirm some things on the order and allow others behind me order. When I got back to the cashier, he told me to restart my order.
  
  I only ordered 2 items and when the food was ready to go, the bag had 3. I check the receipt and he had charged me for one item twice. I mentioned it to the waitress bringing the food and she grabbed the cashier to remove the extra charge from my order. He immediately gets highly aggressive and condescending. When I try to explain where I thought the miscommunication happened, he interrupted me and proceeded to tell me that everything was my fault and that there was no possible way there could have been a miscommunication on their end, even after I mentioned how he had told me to start the order over. He continued to berate me and treat me like an idiot while removing the charges, then told me "that my company would pay for this". Then he stormed off muttering under his breath.
  
  I can only assume that this was the manager on duty as he was loud enough for the whole place to hear and no one else stepped up. I filed a formal complaint with Austin Java, which at the end said they would get back to me in a few days. This was weeks ago and yet nothing. This really shows the integrity of the restaurant and the workers there. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Horrible experience.

  Super nice experience. You go in grab a menu order at the front and choose your own seating. We got our coffee right away and it was amazing!! Ordered the caramel knowledge and my husband got a white mocha. If you order the food you absolutely need to try the Crab Cake Egg Benedict!! Sounds weird but it's amazing! Not dry at all and perfect portion sizes. Also the hash potatoes are super good and flavorful not dry or burnt or mushy! Please please go here! Will go here again for sure. Thank you!!!

  Get there early for open mic nights! A couple of comedians from all around the US jump on stage and having been there twice, I have not yet been disappointed by any of the performers. The drinks are good and not too overpriced, the quesadillas are definitely the way to go!

  Great simple, healthy food. Stand-outs for me are the "Ladybird" Turkey Burger and the Californian omlet. If you're getting eggs, ask for some salsa on the side.. it's super good and fresh.
