  I have came here a couple times and the service is a hit or miss. One time it took 13 minutes till I finally got asked for drinks. After speaking to a manager, the service was much better, but the waitress still had some attitude. Other times I have waiters that are very attentive. Nonetheless, everytime I come I get the chicken & waffles. The chicken is pretty good and on the waffle i got the vanilla cream and strawberry topping which made it amazing. I always get a side of buttermilk to dip my chicken in! It's very sweet and compliments the chicken well. Service needs to be better, but I am always satisfied with the food. Would be 5 stars if service was consistently amazing.

  I love 24 Diner. I have come here at 1am and 8am and every time in between it seems. The food is pretty great quality. The chef uses produce from local farms. The beer selection, while not extensive is still nice. The prices aren't cheap, but not expensive. The chicken and waffles is the best I've had and what you should order when you go.

  Good food, good service. Only reason for 4 stars is that it's crazy expensive. Even in LA at Roscoes (the most famous chicken and waffle place ever) a huge plate bigger than what I got here is about $12. $16.95 for chicken and waffles is on the expensive side. That being said, that chicken was fantastic. Nice and moist. The waffle was a little dry and dense, more like a liege waffle. Good waffle, but not the kind I think goes that well with chicken. I laughed a little when they brought out the $5 side of daily vegetables - it was so so so tiny (see picture). I started with collard greens, but MAN is that stuff salty. So salty I could not even eat it. They were nice enough to notice I wasn't really eating it and substituted it for the daily vegetables.

  I LOVED the food here and would eat here all the time if I lived in the area. It's comfort food with a twist and it's amazing. I didn't find the staff to be overly friendly and that was kind of a downer but the food was worth the trip for sure! Stop in any time of day and get snack or a meal. You'll love it.
