We've been treating ourselves with trips to iPic for several years now, and I hope it'll continue to be one of our favorite theaters - for the comfortable seats if nothing else! So, why not 5 stars? The price one pays for the "good" seats is high, and that's meant to be indicative of the experience you're paying for. Unfortunately, that experience has been slipping over our last several visits. The food isn't amazing, it's not bad, but it isn't the quality I'd expect to get for the price by a long shot. The service is has gone from remarkably good to simply okay. Honestly, the service at The Alamo is better...more prompt, and more friendly. So why give it 4 stars? It's still the only place I can really be comfortable, and watch a movie with my husband in a wonderful mix of a shared experience with the rest of the audience while also feeling like we're in our living room. It's that magic blend that keeps us coming back. I recently bought into their Saphire Membership, which significantly reduces the value for money issue. I can see the iPic in The Domain returning to what it was when they were new and excited to be a part of Austin, and I'll keep hoping that renaissance will happen soon.

We go there at least twice a month and love it! Food is very good, had a one time bad experience with the chicken skewers. Always try to see what the food or the drink of the month is, sometimes is delicious and sometimes it isn't. Love sitting in the reclining chairs relaxing, eating and watching a good movie!

A horrible experience. Maybe it was the time but Ive been to other venues, like Alamo Drafthouse, and many others for a late showing-in the 10 o'clock hour - and had a perfectly good experience. It was first annoying to be unable to order because we didn't check In. Literally had to leave out seats and go to the front desk only to be told to go to out seats. Waiting for a server to greet or take an order took 10 minutes into the movie after all the said drama. 30 minutes into movie we get our drinks. Food and drinks were as advertised - nothing special we pay our check with over 30 minutes remaining we ask for a to go box after the movie, credits etc, I finally just carry my food out in my hands and ask a manager for help who only asks our server to help us. He really could have helped. She finally gets us two boxes and we shovel out food that we carried out in our hands into the he boxes just a bad experience. So much so, I can't even remember the movie right now as we drive home. Just a horrible experience

My husband and I have visited this movie theater several times in the past few years. We've introduced our friends, family, and even bring our 4 year-old to most age appropriate showings. We only purchase the premium plus seating and carry a membership. Needless to say, we've mostly enjoyed our experiences here. Up until the last two visits, maybe a few beyond that. Hence the reason for my 2 stars. Had we not previously had good experiences I would've rated this theater a 1 star. These last two visits have been hideous, to put nicely. The hubs and I went to see beauty and the beast and my seat was dirty to the point of crustiness, food took way too long, and when it finally had arrived we sent it back- explanation to follow. (The following is completely beyond any theater staffs control- but I was given the pleasure of enjoying someone's disgusting foot stench during the duration of the movie, which made us both nauseous and unable to enjoy movie and let alone to stomach food). Then there's my visit today, I was with my husband, and the 4 year-old- we were off to a pretty great start in terms of food service, staff service, and food quality. I was enjoying my delicious shrimp taco when a very large unidentifiable bug landed on the crease of my arm. This was absolutely unacceptable. I refused to even mention it management because there was not a single redeeming quality that would ever make me return to this theater. The kiosk machines seem to always be out of order, the ticket staff waitline is too long- and I once before would accept this as mediocre because the movie and wait staff would redeem this experience until today. I will not be visiting this theater ever again.
